Doo Be Doo Be Doo...
I'm a 24 year old female who graduated from Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa in May of 2000. I love music of all kinds (except country), especially 80s music. I also like to sing, dance, and act. I love to watch basketball, football, hockey, volleyball, tennis, and I am learning to play golf! I also like to write letters so be sure to email me after you've browsed my page!
I used to be in all kinds of activities at school, but I'm working full time now as a research assistant in a breast cancer research lab at Northwestern University (Chicago Campus). When I was in school I was Secretary of Phi Lambda Xi, President of Chemistry Club, I played Intramural sports, and I worked in the library. I now have a BA in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and I am on my way to my dream of curing diseases.
I moved to the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area after graduation and then to the Iowa City area. I currently live in a Southwest Suburb or Chicago with my cat Tiga and I hate the traffic! I am originally from Varna, Illinois (a tiny town of 400 people in central Illinois) which is still where my dad lives. I have 3 older brothers, 1 sister-in-law, 3 nieces, and a nephew, too. I am also engaged to a wonderful man named Robert and we're getting married Jan. 18, 2003 in Las Vegas (no Elvis wedding, though).
In my spare time I volunteer as the Iowa Alumni Advisor for a great program called Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY). Check out my link to the HOBY website to learn all about it and contact me if you'd like to help in some way and I'll get you connected to the right people!
